i fully understand why people shunned me yesterday...

it's either

1) they're stingy and the sight of me makes them want to change directions...

2) it's my retribution...

i figured there's one job i cannot take....a flyer girl...

here's what happened:

i volunteered myself to sell flags yesterday for the special olympics for the intellectually disabled
(partly because it has 4 CIP hours), so i reported there at 1.30pm and already i saw Victorians over there..snagging donations....sheesh...i glared at them each time they walk pass....

so i started at this corner where people will see me when they get of the bus...and surprisingly for the fist 15 minutes...nobody came..you may say it's normal...then how came liyana...who wasn't far from me had people donating????

then i figured...i pasted on my sweetest smile and asked for donations...it worked for a while...but still people shunned me and just smiled when i start to open my mouth and walked off...Hello! why can't you donate spare change! it's for little kids!

then it finally dawned on me...like a kind of glaring light

i guess this was God's way to teach me a lesson...do onto others what you want others to do to you!

i hardly donate into tin cans and i shun flyer givers...

so i made it a point to donate to the students that spent a long day seeking donations ( "good for you! pat on the back")

thank you lionel, claire, val and clar's bro for your kind and generous donations...and everyone else who donated...thank you very much..you made my day easier...

i rushed to church after that but found it a little boring cause i was really tired...hey! try standing and begging people to vote for 4 hours straight!

take my advice : donate
