i was watching some kids science show while supervising my brother doing his chinese assesment...
it was really interesting...alot of gizmos and fun stuff...something about growing plants in balloons and drawing a potrait with a mirror...
so they showed how to make your own ice-cream without the fridge.
steps:
1) Pour a mixture(whatever flavour you want...chocolate milk...whatever, as long as it's edible) about a cup or so into a ziplock bag...zip it tight...i mean really tight...
2) Fill a container (big enough to store the bag and ice...so maybe an ice-cream tub) with alot of ice...maybe halfway through the container and thrown in about 3 tablespoons of salt. Close it and give it a little mix.
3) Place the ziplock bag inside and close. Shake the container for 5 minutes. You might want to wear kitchen gloves...my fingers became red and numb....and then itchy...
and then...taadaa! it's done! it'd be kind of ice-cream like soon....so just gather them into a mound and scoop them right out or cut a hole at the edge of the bag so the ice-cream swirls out.
trust me it works....although it failed when my sister did coffee flavour the last time....
too bad i made very little...but it looked nice my brother ate it all...
