Flag day anyone?We had to go all the way to chinatown to collect our tins. Then me and fang went to Plaza Sing to get some art supplies and we flagged there for like what? 5 mins? Spotlight has amazing things...we bought feathers!
Then we took a train to orchard to flag. Okay people were nicer there. We flagged outside some Cartier place and i think i have good luck. See, my fang was not far from me but people donate to my tin instead of hers. I have like more than 10 $2 notes. Met alot of different kinds of people...this taitai who use to teach in TKG talked to me for quite a while, these 2 really really funny caucasians and some weird guy. I realised the people who donated were more to the foreigners or non-chinese side. Does that say something? Hmmm.
Our flag day was 5 hours! But i stood for one hour plus i think...my tin was quite okay okay. See people like my face...haha.
After squeezing into a really packed train..as in seriously packed kind where everyone is packed like sardines in a tin, we went to chinatown again to return the tins. We walked around Chinatown point to look for supplies...but to no avail. So i remembered Jannah said Marine Parade sold something like what we wanted.
I was already tired already but for the Sec.4s! I perservere!
So i took 2 trains and a bus to Marine Parade and i felt quite okay there even though i was alone cos i am so familiar with that place! And wahlaa! i found what i wanted! Eye mask! And i bought something else for Eunice's temporary present.
Thank God my dad came to fetch me. If not i'l just sleep on the bus and no one can wake me up. Oh i realised that Marine Parade sells cheap headbands...in fact the street stalls sell really cheap things.
